As early as the 1960s, Rosenthal's son Philip had already taken over the management of the family business and Rosenthal developed into a modern lifestyle company. In addition to the production of porcelain, cooperations with artists gained international attention for the company and renowned designers created the interior pieces of the Rosenthal furnishing label in 1972.
