The mug "Ming Dragon Purple" is part of "The MEISSEN Mug Collection" and is adorned on the form "Berlin" by one of the manufactory's oldest designs. Symbolically, the dragon stands for the spirit of change, among other things, which is evidenced not least by the diverse implementation of the decoration in eight enchanting colour variations. The iconic "Ming Dragon" was already created in the first half of the 18th century. It was designed after Chinese motifs that decorated Far Eastern porcelain, especially during the Ming Dynasty.
