For years now, the traditional manufactory has been treading new paths: The Meissen insignias of the crossed swords and the world-renowned pug remain, but new ideas are welcomed. This has resulted in new, modern forms of service with contemporary decor. And – something that is brand new for the manufactory – a simple, white, i.e. unpainted, service is now available.
The business relationships between MEISSEN® and Franzen go back at least 107 years, probably even further. Proof of this is provided by an invoice from 1911, which certifies Franzen as a partner of the Royal Saxon Porcelain Manufactory (the MEISSEN manufactory). This long, intensive period of cooperation has shaped our business significantly.
In our store on the Königsallee in Düsseldorf, you can find one of the largest selections of Meissen porcelain® in the world. Whether table services, gifts, figurines or limited works of art made from Meissen porcelain® − we enable you to admire and touch many different offerings.
The classic table services are ingrained in our tradition. But it is precisely the modern shapes and decors that inspire us, the family and our employees, today in particular. That is why we are particularly pleased to show you contemporary Meissen®.
Since 2009 we have stocked the MEISSEN® Joaillerie collection. You can find the various jewelry collections such as Mystery, Royal Blossom or the legendary pug at the front of our store on the right-hand side in our Joaillerie.
And by the way, the floor tiles you walk on in our entrance area are also made from Meissen® porcelain!
