Fountain Pen Paris 1924 LeGrand M 146

Product information "Fountain Pen Paris 1924 LeGrand M 146"

To mark the 100th anniversary of the Meisterstück 2024, Montblanc is honouring the origins of this legendary writing instrument with a collection inspired by the flair of the 1924 Olympic Games in Paris. By a stroke of luck, the brand introduced the writing instrument in 1924 that would become one of its most popular creations - its Meisterstück. At the same time, the Summer Olympics were being held in Paris that year. At their core, both Montblanc and the 1924 Olympic Games in Paris epitomise human excellence - be it in craftsmanship or sport. This special edition made of precious resin in a warm shade of red - the official red colour of the 1924 Olympic Games in Paris - features a handcrafted nib made of solid 585 / 14 K gold, which is decorated with a javelin thrower as a reference to the historic poster of the Olympic Games from that year. The Olympic rings adorn the ring of the cap head as part of the Olympic Heritage logo in the form of an engraving. They are surrounded by a wreath of leaves, with which the heads of the victors were crowned in ancient times. The cap itself features the engraved lettering ‘Olympic Games Paris 1924’ with a border that is modelled on the cover of the official Games report from back then. The anniversary cap ring features the two numbers ‘1924’ and ‘2024’, which commemorate the significance of these two years. This edition is crowned by the Montblanc emblem in the cap head, which is set in coral-coloured precious resin, Montblanc's signature colour. International Olympic Committee - All Rights Reserved
