The BERLIN collection achieves what only the city that lends its name to this unconventional design can: creating something beautiful from the symbiosis of contradictions. Developed in 1996 by the Italian designer Enzo Mari in collaboration with the designers at KPM Berlin, it harmoniously combines opposites, just as its designer once did.
The lush green of the Tiergarten edition is a tribute to the 'green lung' of the capital. In contrast to the classic white of the porcelain, it shines particularly vividly. In an innovative manufacturing process, the BERLIN breakfast cup is sprayed with the luster paint by hand. The full shine only comes to light after the color firing.
Care instructions for many dazzling moments: On porcelain, the semi-transparent, metallic shimmering luster paint is quite rare and therefore a special feature that should be treated with special care. To ensure that the joy in the multi-faceted appearance of the cup lasts as long as possible, it is best cleaned and dried by hand and not stacked to avoid fading of its color and scratches.
