§1 Information about the collection of personal data

  1. In the following we inform you about the collection of personal data when using our website. Personal data is all data that can be related to you personally, e.g. name, address, e-mail addresses, user behavior. With your consent to our data protection regulations, you agree to the following regulations.

Controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union ("GDPR") and other national data privacy laws applicable in the member states as well as other data protection regulations is Franzen GmbH & Co. §3 Collection of personal data when you visit our website

  1. If you only use the website for information purposes, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. If you wish to view our website, we collect the following data, which is technically necessary for us to display our website to you and to guarantee stability and security (legal basis is Art. 6 (1)(1)(f) GDPR):

§4 Use of Cookies

  1. When you use our website, cookies are stored on your computer. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard drive assigned to the browser you are using and through which certain information flows to the location that sets the cookie (here by us). Cookies cannot execute programs or transmit viruses to your computer. They serve to make the website more user-friendly and effective.
  2. This website uses the following types of cookies, the scope and functionality of which are explained below:

    – Persistent cookies (see b.)
    a) Transient cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser, unless otherwise decided by you. These include, in particular the so-called session cookies. Session cookies store a session ID by means of which various requests from your browser can be assigned to the shared session. This allows your computer to be recognized when you return to our website. Session cookies are deleted when you log out or close your browser.
    b) Persistent cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period, which differs depending on the cookie. You can delete cookies at any time in the security settings of your browser.

§5 Webshop

  1. If you would like to order in our web shop, it is necessary for the conclusion of the contract that you provide your personal data, which we need for the processing of your order. Mandatory data necessary for the processing of the contracts are marked separately, further data are voluntary. We process the data provided by you in order to process your order. In addition we can pass on your payment data to our house bank. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) (1) (b) GDPR.

    You can voluntarily create a customer account through which we can store your data for future purchases. When you create an account under "My account", the data you provide will be stored revocably. You can always delete all other data, including your user account, in the customer area.

    We may also process the information you provide in order to inform you about other interesting products in our portfolio or to send you e-mails with technical information.
  2. Due to commercial and tax law requirements, we are obliged to store your address, payment and order data in order to comply with legal obligations. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) (1) (c) GDPR. Insofar as we are not obliged to do so, the data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer required for the attainment of the purpose for which they were collected.
  3. To prevent unauthorized access by third parties to your personal data, in particular financial data, the order process is encrypted using TLS technology.

 

§6 Newsletter

  1. By giving your consent, you can subscribe to our newsletter in which we inform you about our latest offers. The advertised goods and services are named in the declaration of consent.
  2. For the registration to our newsletter we use the so-called double opt-in process. This means that, after your registration for the newsletter, we will send you an e-mail to the specified e-mail address in which we will ask you to confirm your desire to receive the newsletter. Should you fail to confirm your registration within 24 hours, your information will be blocked and automatically deleted after one month. In addition, we store the IP addresses you used and the time of registration and confirmation. The purpose of the procedure is to prove your registration and, if necessary, to clarify any possible misuse of your personal data.
  3. The only mandatory information for the submission of the newsletter is your e-mail address. After having received your confirmation, we will save your e–mail address for the purpose of sending you the newsletter. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) 1st sentence (a) GDPR. The collection of the user's e-mail address serves to send the newsletter. The e-mail address will be stored for as long as you subscribe to the newsletter.
  4. You can withdraw your consent to receiving the newsletter at any time and unsubscribe from the newsletter. You can cancel your subscription simply by clicking on the link provided in each newsletter e-mail or direct https://www.franzen.de/en/newsletter

 

§7 Google Analytics

  1. Our website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies, i.e. text files, which are stored on your computer and which allow the analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, Google will shorten your IP address within Member States of the European Union or in other states party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area beforehand. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide the website operator with further services associated with website and Internet use.
  2. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics is not merged with any other Google data.

  4. We use Google Analytics with the extension anonymizeIp. In this way, IP addresses are further processed in abbreviated form, so that personal identification can be excluded.
  5. We use Google Analytics to analyse the use of our website and to improve it on a regular basis. By means of the statistics obtained, we are able to improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. For the exceptional cases in which personal data are transferred to the US, Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Art. 6 (1) 1st sentence (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the increase of the customer-friendly design of our website.
