The cutting board has a generously dimensioned juice groove for easy cleaning. The groove is deliberately only on two sides of the board so you can easily wipe off the food you have cut, for example onto a plate which can be placed under the extra wide handle recesses.
All Nesmuk boards are made with the greatest care from the heartwood of German oak – the heartwood is the oldest and most valuable part of the trunk. The single ledgers are carefully chosen and assembled. The fine surface polish and the finishing treatment with natural flaxseed oil and beeswax produce a silky gloss.
The cutting board is made in two sizes and are available either untreated light or traditionally smoked dark.
