In the 1930s, a particularly large and stunning specimen was sent to the Maharaja of Gwailor in India. Since 1997, each chandelier has featured one red crystal droplet - a Baccarat trademark. International elite designers have been working with and for Baccarat for a long time now; over the past few years, this has included Ettore Sottsass, Arik Levy and Philippe Starck. Philippe Starck created an icon of modern times - the small lamp "Our Fire" on the "Harcourt" foot.
This tradition, combined with the knowledge and skills of the best craftsmen in France, continues to produce perfect treasures today which stand for the name Baccarat.
