About Hermès

The founder, Thierry Hermès, opened a horse bridle and saddle shop in Paris in 1937. In the 1890s, the range was expanded to include suitcases and leather bags; at the beginning of the 1920s, handbags were added, which are still one of the company's most sought-after products today. The range continued to grow: the famous silk carrés, ties, scents, fashion for women and men, watches and jewelry, and much more. When dining culture was integrated by Hermès in 1982 with "La Table Hermès", this was another milestone in the history of the company. The highest demands are placed on the porcelain produced in Limoges. And equally strict requirements apply to the decorations, which are developed in small studios.
